The Senior Manager, Realty Project Management and Design, leads the delivery of multiple remodel and adaptation projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, budgets, and brand standards. This role directs design strategy, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder coordination across cross-functional teams to achieve timely, cost-effective outcomes. The position also focuses on mentoring project management staff, driving process improvements, and maintaining governance standards. By providing clear communication and data-driven recommendations, this role supports capital planning and fosters continuous improvement to enhance project quality and operational efficiency within the portfolio.
About the team:
The Realty Project Management and Design team oversees multiple remodel and adaptation projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and aligned with business goals. The team develops actionable design and construction plans, manages regulatory compliance, and coordinates cross-functional partners to drive project success. They lead design strategy, resolve permitting challenges, and maintain high standards for quality and safety. Focused on continuous improvement, the team mentors project management staff and implements efficient processes. Their collaborative approach supports effective communication and resource allocation, contributing to Walmart’s commitment to operational excellence and delivering value to customers.
What you'll do:
  • Oversee a portfolio of remodel and adaptation projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and alignment with business objectives and brand standards.
  • Develop and manage project scopes by translating business requirements into actionable design and construction plans.
  • Establish and maintain schedules and budgets, tracking milestones and reallocating resources as priorities shift.
  • Lead design strategy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Walmart standards.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and communicate project status and risks to senior leadership.
  • Mentor project management staff and implement process improvements to enhance delivery efficiency.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
