Crozier Fine Arts is seeking a motivated and experienced Operations Supervisor to join our Operations Team in Richmond, VA. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily operational control and staff management as well as oversight of our warehouse and storage accounts.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
In this role, you will:
  • Team Management - Lead, train, and develop facility staff to ensure high performance and retention. You will manage workloads to maintain appropriate staffing levels while promoting a culture of integrity and productivity.
  • Operations - Execute daily operational control of the facility, providing strategic advice to leadership and ensuring all art handling, logistics, and third party vendor activities are coordinated seamlessly. Deliver exceptional service by conducting facility tours for potential clients and proactively addressing concerns to exceed expectations.
  • Finance Administration Oversight - Meeting monthly financial targets, reviewing P & L statements, and managing staff payroll, ensuring accuracy. You will provide accurate estimates to internal and external clients.
  • Safety, Security & Facilities Management - Act as the primary lead for the safety of clients, employees, and high-value art. You will manage building security systems (CCTV, fire prevention) and serve as the first responder for off-hour emergencies. Collaborate with engineering for all issues relating to building and equipment. Ensure the maintenance, general upkeep, and appearance of the facility meets Crozier premium standards.

What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)
The ideal candidate will have:
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience in fine art logistics, fine art warehouse environment or white glove service is preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent professional work experience).
  • Industry standard of art logistics, including current packing, handling, storage, and transportation methods, materials, and equipment best practices
  • Proven ability in resource allocation, with the capacity to prioritize schedules and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic, high-stakes environment.
  • A high degree of autonomy and accountability, balanced with the ability to function as a collaborative management team player.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, articulately, and professionally with both clients and internal stakeholders.

Reasonably expected salary range: $73,800.00 - $98,400.00
