Job Description

This role will be based in San Francisco, New York, Omaha, Sunnyvale or Chicago.ย

At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.ย

The GTM Enablement team is seeking a Learning Designer with an AI-forward mindset who sees enablement as more than traditional training and course development.ย

This role is for someone who sees enablement as a driver of performance, not just training. You use AI, experimentation, and rapid prototyping to create engaging learning experiences grounded in adult learning principles and built for real-world application.ย

You'll help modernize enablement through AI-assisted workflows, microlearning, gamification, simulations, and just-in-time support. You quickly turn ideas into scalable solutions and partner across teams to expand what works throughout the broader GTME organization.ย

We're looking for a curious, self-directed innovator with a builder's mindset. You thrive on solving complex problems, iterating quickly, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver learning experiences that are instructionally sound and technologically forward-thinking.ย

Responsibilitiesย

  • Champion accessibility and inclusive design standards across learning experiences, ensuring content is usable, scalable, and effective for diverse audiencesย

  • Design and deliver AI-powered learning experiences including microlearning, simulations, games, and performance support resources grounded in adult learning principlesย

  • Rapidly prototype and iterate on new learning approaches, then scale successful solutions across GTMEย

  • Translate business goals and learner needs into practical enablement solutions with measurable impactย

  • Embed learning into the flow of work through just-in-time support, guidance, and performance aidsย

  • Use AI tools and platforms such as Articulate 360, Copilot, Gemini, and others to accelerate content creation and personalizationย

  • Curate and reuse existing content strategically, identifying when to build new assets versus leverage what already existsย

  • Measure learning effectiveness and use data and feedback to continuously improve experiences and outcomesย

  • Partner cross-functionally with stakeholders to align on priorities and co-create impactful learning solutionsย

  • Ensure learning content is accessible, easy to navigate, and designed for reuse across audiences and programsย

  • Continuously explore emerging AI tools, technologies, and workflows to improve speed, quality, engagement, and business impactย

ย

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:ย

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in enablement, learning design, instructional design, game design, interactive experience design, or related fields in a fast-paced environmentย

  • Hands-on experience using AI platforms, content creation tools, authoring tools, or interactive technologies such as Articulate 360, Copilot, Gemini, or similar tools to create engaging digital experiencesย

  • Experience creating and editing multimedia content, including video, audio, graphics, interactive assets, or digital learning materialsย

Preferred Qualifications:ย ย

  • BA degree or equivalent practical experienceย

  • Ability to independently lead complex learning, enablement, or interactive experience projects from concept through deliveryย

  • Experience designing games, interactive experiences, simulations, or engagement-driven digital contentย

  • Demonstrated curiosity, adaptability, and a growth mindset with a passion for experimentation, innovation, and continuous improvementย

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholdersย

  • Experience working in fast-paced, evolving environments with the ability to manage ambiguity and shift priorities effectivelyย

  • Familiarity with AI-powered workflows, emerging technologies, and modern content creation approachesย

  • Passion for creating accessible, engaging, and user-centered experiences that drive real-world application and performanceย

Suggested Skills:

  • Enablementย
  • Digestable Learningย
  • Forward Thinking
