Job description

Account Manager

The Hilb Group of NE, Clark Mortenson Agencyis currently searching for an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to work in their Keene Office.

  • Be main conduit of communication to the insured and handle day-to-day correspondence with client (email, phone) for standard market accounts.
  • Use discretion and judgement to interpret policy language and communicate changes in coverage to the insured
  • Act as the relationship builder with the account
  • Market new business and prepare proposals for referral prospects
  • Re-market existing policies as necessary due to non-renewal or to obtain more competitive pricing and/or coverage for insured
  • Solicit cross-sale opportunities on each account Auto, Home & Umbrella lines of business
  • Negotiate between carriers and insured to respond to their questions and/or issues
  • Review and process all policy endorsements
  • Be accountable for all aspects of the renewal management process, including agency invoicing when necessary.
  • Quality check all renewals - advise client of material changes found on renewals or differences between quotes and policies and endorsements
  • Monitor billing and cancellation status of accounts
  • Generate proof of insurance upon request on behalf of the insured
  • Use discretion and judgement to direct processing tasks to Account Technicians
  • Document all correspondence regarding the account in agency management system
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • NHproducer license (includes 20 CEU's of continuing education every two years, including an Ethics class)

One of the following professional designations is required: AAI, CPCU, CIC, ARM, CRM
