Job description

Position: System Administrator
Primary Location: Washington, DC 20534
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shift; travel to remote locations required
Clearance Required: Public Trust Clearance - must be able to obtain and maintain prior to performance
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage IT infrastructure systems operating in a Microsoft Windows environment
  • Perform account management for users and systems
  • Troubleshoot workstations and servers in both virtual and physical environments
  • Install hardware and software; configure operating systems
  • Perform patch and vulnerability management
  • Configure and troubleshoot workstation peripherals
  • Travel to remote BOP/FPI locations as required to provide on-site support

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum 5 years of IT experience
  • CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, MCP, and/or MCSA certifications can collectively substitute for up to 2 years of the required 5 years of experience

CERTIFICATIONS
  • CompTIA A+ - counts toward up to 2-year experience substitution (in combination with other listed certs)
  • CompTIA Network+ - counts toward up to 2-year experience substitution
