Job description

Salary:

ACCOUNT MANAGER

Full-Time | Remote | Reports to: Director of Revenue

ABOUT APEXDROP

Most influencer marketing is paid actors reading scripts. Over a decade ago, ApexDrop built the opposite: 20,000+ vetted creators who choose the products they genuinely want to try. No payments, no scripts - just real content that drives real results. Brands like Corona Premier, Ellsworth Creamery, Fresh Express, and Moose Toys trust us to deliver it at scale.

As AI-generated content floods the market, brands need authentic human voices more than ever. We've been building exactly that for years. This is our moment - and we're hiring the team to match it.

THE ROLE

This is a pure account management position. No operations. No campaign building. Your job is relationships and revenue. You'll own a portfolio of brand clients and be responsible for keeping them happy, growing their investment, and making sure nobody falls through the cracks. You get paid because people buy more - it's that simple.

You'll be the primary point of contact for your clients from onboarding through renewal. You'll run recurring check-ins, present campaign results, identify growth opportunities, and convert pilot clients into long-term always-on partners. When things go sideways, you'll be the first to know and the first to act.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Client Relationships (This Is the Job)

  • Own a portfolio of brand clients as their dedicated point of contact - you are ApexDrop to them
  • Maintain bi-weekly (minimum) recurring meetings with every client, logged and tracked
  • Build genuine relationships with brand champions and decision-makers at every level
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues before they become problems - no client should ever have to chase you for a response
  • Respond to every client email within 24 hours, no exceptions

Revenue Growth (How You Win)

  • Convert Ignite pilot clients into Platinum ($5K/mo) or VIP ($2.5K/mo) always-on partnerships at Day 85
  • Drive account expansion by identifying upsell opportunities and presenting growth strategies backed by data
  • Hit an 80%+ pilot-to-continuation conversion rate
  • Generate referrals from satisfied clients - if they can't tell a friend about us, you haven't done your job yet
  • Assume renewal. Assume partnership. Act like it's already a done deal - because it is if you've done the work

Campaign Oversight (Strategic, Not Operational)

  • Present campaign results and ROI reports during review calls, translating data into strategic recommendations
  • Coordinate with the campaign operations team to ensure deliverables and timelines are met
  • Share Quick Wins and success stories throughout the campaign lifecycle to reinforce value
  • Educate clients on ApexDrop's methodology - the air-gap model, creative freedom, FTC compliance - so they understand why this works

WHO YOU ARE

  • You've managed client accounts before and you were the person clients asked for by name. You have 2+ years of account management, client success, or relationship-driven sales experience.
  • You're organized to a fault. You don't drop balls. Every client has a cadence, every touchpoint is logged, and nothing slips through the cracks.
  • You're a communicator, not a hider. When something goes wrong, your instinct is to surface it immediately, not bury it. Transparency isn't a value to you - it's a reflex.
  • You can sell without being salesy. You understand that the best upsell is a client who genuinely trusts you and sees the value in doing more.
  • You're comfortable with technology. We use HubSpot, Asana, AI tools (Claude), SendBlue, and Google Workspace daily. You don't need to be an expert, but you can't be afraid of learning.
  • You thrive in small teams. There's no hiding here. Your work is visible, your impact is measurable, and your contributions matter every single day.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience in influencer marketing, social media marketing, or adjacent digital marketing fields
  • Experience with CPG brands or retail (Walmart, Target, Meijer, etc.)
  • Familiarity with HubSpot CRM
  • Background as an executive assistant, agency account lead, or client-facing consultant
  • Based in Erie, PA area (not required)

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Base salary + commission tied to retention and account growth
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with profit sharing
  • Paid holidays and PTO
  • Remote flexibility with optional in-office collaboration in Erie, PA
  • A team that actually likes each other and a CEO who will fight for you if you fight for the mission

ApexDrop is positioned to lead that shift. If you want to be part of something that matters - and grow with a company that's on the edge of something big - we want to hear from you.
