ROLE: IP Program Manager (Patent Operations & Pipeline)

About the Role Launch Legends, together with its subsidiary Legendary IP LLC, is seeking an IP Program Manager to operationalize and scale one of the most ambitious patent programs in blockchain / decentralized systems history. You will own the patent operations pipeline, coordinate invention harvesting across technical verticals, track critical deadlines, and ensure seamless collaboration between in-house IP counsel/attorneys, engineering teams, founders, and external counsel. This role sits alongside our existing Intellectual Property Manager and IP legal team.

Key Responsibilities • Own the full patent operations pipeline, including timelines, roadmap, dashboards, and KPIs. • Facilitate invention harvesting meetings across Autheo’s verticals (Blockchain, Cryptography, Kernel, AI/ML, DePIN, VM, DevHub, and related areas). • Track deadlines for provisionals, office actions, PCT filings, national phases, and related formalities. • Manage communication and workflow between the In-House Patent Attorney / IP Legal Counsel, external law firms, engineers, and founders. • Oversee document workflows, versioning, intake forms, templates, and IP procedures. • Ensure all filings meet quality, completeness, and formatting standards. • Build and maintain portfolio visibility tools and reporting for leadership.

Requirements – Must Have • 3–7+ years experience in program management for legal, patent, R&D, or technical operations (IP/patent operations strongly preferred). • Strong organizational skills and experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder workflows and deadlines. • Ability to work cross-functionally with highly technical engineering and product teams. • Excellent written and verbal communication; comfort operating in a fast-moving remote equity-cofounder environment.

Nice to Have • Direct experience supporting large or high-velocity patent portfolios / IP operations. • Familiarity with USPTO/PCT processes, docketing systems, or patent analytics tools. • Background in blockchain, cryptography, distributed systems, AI/ML, or related deep tech (not required but helpful). • Prior experience in startup / high-growth or equity-based environments.

First 90-Day Deliverables • Operationalize / refine a high-volume invention intake and submission pipeline. • Create or upgrade the portfolio dashboard, KPI tracking, and basic automation/workflows. • Implement or standardize intake forms, harvesting cadence, and scheduling system across priority verticals. • Establish clear handoff and communication protocols with the existing IP Manager, attorneys, and engineering leads.
