DLC is one of Addison's five full time salaried Accounting and Finance bench models with a diverse fortune 500 client base operating in five major markets; Los Angeles, Orange County, San Francisco, Chicago and Philadelphia. DLC utilizes a full-time salaried employment model & hires only individuals who either have Big 4 CPA experience or are graduates from one of the top 25 MBA programs. DLC consultants are highly credentialed, best-in-class senior resources suited to the sophisticated needs of our clients.
The DLC BDA role will support our Chicago practice & manage the inside sales and marketing efforts for the local sales team. The responsibilities will be focused on supporting the DLC business development teams drive client development & growth. This in an excellent entry level sales opportunity with career progression. Successful Business Development Associates will have future opportunities for promotion, advancement into full sales positions.

The Role
  • Set & attend meetings for Client Service Directors (CSD's) and Client Account Directors (CAD's) with new & existing clients & prospects utilizing cold & warm calling techniques, email campaigns, social media outreach & referrals
  • Research target companies & define strategies for relationship development
  • Stay on top of market trends & apply these to development within account portfolio
  • Develop an understanding of regional market landscape & define account prioritization
  • Create email campaigns, track campaign results & follow up on any client engagement resulting from email campaigns
  • Help maintain the accuracy of contact database through market research & name generation techniques
  • Play an active role in existing client management, ensuring that follow up meetings are set up
  • Support sales team with custom materials including project profiles, engagement confirmations, coordination of marketing materials, & other ad hoc projects
  • Perform client & prospect research; provide updates to CSDs / CADs regarding M&A transactions, earnings updates, executive changes & other current events
  • Provide content for company's social media campaigns & newsletters
  • Assist CSD / CAD in responding to RFPs and preparing presentations for clients
  • Assist CSD / CAD with general office support including event planning, consultant communications & outreach

What We're Looking For
  • 1-2 years of sales / business development experience building and maintaining relationships in professional accounting, finance, or technology fields
  • Competitive nature & drive to become a successful business development professional
  • Ability to leverage your network of current clients and our database of target accounts to build, strengthen and nurture relationships
  • Committed to building strong relationships
  • Demonstrated skills in interacting with C-level executives
