Learning & Development Coordinator

We have a unique career opportunity for a Learning & Development Coordinator. As part of the Learning and Development team, the L&D Coordinator is responsible for supporting our L&D team by monitoring and maintaining our learning management system and providing first-line support to employees regarding LMS questions, concerns, or issues. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of system experience (Cornerstone preferred) and consistently demonstrates exceptional client service as well as attention to detail. We are excited to hire a collaborative candidate who will help maintain or elevate our servant leadership brand and provide excellent service to internal clients.

Location

This position will report to our downtown Chicago office twice a week on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Other weekdays will be worked remotely.

The Impact You Will Have:
  • Add courses, track registration and attendance, document completion, and communicate statuses to participants our learning management system (LMS).
  • Execute reports in the LMS and manage dashboards.
  • Communicate course information to participants and function as point person for inquiries.
  • Provide insights into improving employee experiences, simplifying processes, and supporting effective and efficient delivery of learning events.
  • Create, edit/format, and organize course related documents, reports, and correspondence - or collaborate with Marketing team on materials.
  • Function as a support for virtual events.
What You Will Need:
  • Minimum one year of learning and development related work experience.
  • B.S. Degree in Human Resources, Education, Training, or related field.
  • Servant leadership mentality and enjoys collaborating with internal clients.
  • Intermediate to advanced L&D software skills, preferably with LMS (Cornerstone).
  • Technical skills with current learning management systems, web-conferencing tools, google apps, etc.
  • Strong aptitude for technology: MS Office, LMS, video production and editing software and E-Learning Systems.
  • Experience with Camtasia and/or instructional design software preferred.
  • Advanced organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communications skills required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Day-to-day support and oversight of the learning management system.
  • Respond to all LMS-related tickets and troubleshoot support issues.
  • Develop, deliver, and effectively use digital content, tools, or related processes and procedures to help foster a high-quality digital educational experience.
  • Collaborate with L&D team and other subject matter experts to assist in the development and production of curriculum and other deliverables.
  • Create training materials and content for distribution via LMS, websites, newsletters, and workshops.
  • Support integrated third-party systems such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.

The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in accordance with the State of Illinois Pay Transparency Act, Illinois Pay Transparency Law. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on numerous factors, including but not limited to individual education, qualifications, prior work experience, and geographic location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary, overtime, and bonuses.
