Job description

Help shape little minds and create big smiles, join our team as an Assistant Toddler Teacher!

Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers in Lake Orion is looking for caring, energetic Assistant Toddler Teachers to help inspire a lifelong love of learning.

As an Assistant Toddler Teacher, you will work in collaboration with and in support of the Lead Toddler Teacher to create a safe, nurturing and interactive environment that fosters age-appropriate learning utilizing the High Scope curriculum. 

Position Detail

·       Status: Regular, full-time

·       Schedule: Monday -Friday, 8:15am-5:15pm or 8:30am-5:30pm

·       Pay range $15-$19/hour (based on certification or degree plus years of experience in early childhood education)

·       Location: Onsite, Lake Orion, Michigan

·       Please note: This position does NOT qualify for US VISA sponsorship or relocation

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Prefer a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or be working toward a degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Prior experience with Toddlers in a classroom setting or as a private nanny  
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Able to pass Background screening including fingerprinting
