Job Description:

The Risk & Compliance Associate will support the organization's global compliance, ethics, and enterprise risk management initiatives. Reporting to senior legal leadership, this individual will partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen compliance processes, manage risk-related workflows, support internal investigations, and help maintain a culture of integrity across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support global compliance and ethics programs by partnering with internal stakeholders to promote adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with the administration and continuous improvement of business integrity initiatives and compliance processes.
  • Manage compliance workflows, including ethics hotline intake and case management activities.
  • Coordinate and support internal investigations related to employee concerns, conflicts of interest, policy violations, and other compliance matters.
  • Maintain detailed records, reporting, and documentation to ensure audit readiness and process consistency.
  • Update and enhance compliance policies and controls, including areas such as code of conduct, anti-bribery, gifts and entertainment, and personal investments.
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development teams to support compliance training initiatives.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and emerging industry trends, recommending process improvements as needed.
  • Assist with enterprise risk management activities by identifying, assessing, and mitigating organizational risks.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for legal leadership and senior stakeholders.
  • Support the evaluation and implementation of AI-enabled tools and compliance technologies to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (J.D., M.B.A., or related field) preferred.
  • 4โ€“7+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, legal operations, investigations, or a related field.
  • Prior experience within professional services environments strongly preferred; financial services experience may also be considered.
  • Background as a Compliance Analyst, Risk Analyst, Legal Operations professional, or Paralegal preferred.
  • Experience managing projects and driving process improvements.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization.
  • Experience with compliance technologies, governance platforms, or case management systems is a plus.
  • Demonstrated interest in emerging technologies and AI tools, including awareness of related governance and compliance considerations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
