Short Description
  • Responsible for the daily supervision of the classroom under the direction of the lead teacher.
  • Assists in preparing the learning environment, setting up interest centers, and preparing needed materials and supplies. 
  • Demonstrates knowledge of licensing requirements, NAEYC Accreditation criteria and developmentally appropriate practice in daily interactions in the classroom. 

Experience Required
  • Experience in a licensed childcare center preferred.

Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's degree in early childhood education or CDA preferred.
