Summary

Help shape the future of early career talent through impactful learning experiences and meaningful development opportunities. As an Early Career Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the Pathways Program by coordinating communications, managing program logistics, and enhancing learner engagement to deliver consistent, high-quality experience. You will partner closely with the Learning & Development team to support the successful execution of training initiatives while helping foster growth, connection, and career development for emerging talents. This role is ideal for an organized, collaborative, and detail-oriented professional who is passionate about learning, development, and creating engaging experience for early career employees.

This position has a target wage of $23.00 - $34.25 per hour, based on shift, experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance). Overtime may be available. 

In addition to hourly wages, Perdue offers a competitive benefits package, including medical/Rx, 401(k) with employer match after 1 year, critical illness, accident insurance, dental, vision, life insurance, optional group life insurance, short-term and long-term disability protection, flexible spending accounts and paid time off.  

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as a point of contact for learners across all L&D programs.
  • Foster engagement through regular communication, checkins, and feedback collection.
  • Assist in planning and executing training sessions, including virtual and inperson events.
  • Manage calendars, invitations, materials, and followup communications.
  • Collaborate with the L&D team to prepare and distribute training materials.
  • Support facilitators during sessions.
  • Ensure smooth delivery of content.
  • Collect and analyze learner feedback to identify engagement trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Share insights with the L&D team to inform program enhancements.
  • Support the assignment and tracking of online learning modules.
  • Ensure learners have access to required content.
  • Troubleshoot access issues as needed.
  • Coordinate logistics for regional and corporate training events.
  • Manage venue setup, technology support, and participant communications.
  • Assist in maintaining the L&D Scoreboard by tracking attendance, completion rates, and engagement metrics.
  • Prepare reports for leadership review.
  • Serve as liaison to operational leadership and the talent/performance management team.

Minimum Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Human Resources, Communications, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in training coordination, learner support, or employee engagement.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detailoriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Experience with LMS platforms (SAP).

Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors

  • Ability to travel up to 25% to support training courses, regional events, and plant visits.
  • Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
  • May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
  • May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
  • Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
