Job description

Maitra Associates, P.C. (Maitra), an established multi-disciplined engineering design and construction management firm serving the needs of various clients in the transportation, institutional, and facilities markets, seeks experienced Civil Engineers with 4-6 years of experience for its growing land development group. Projects will include roads, underground utilities, public buildings, recreational facilities, and land use applications. You will participate in the design of various infrastructure projects for the public sector- municipalities, state agencies, and local school districts- and the private sector, both commercial and residential, and report directly to the Project Manager.

Duties:

  • Engage in valuable interactions with external clients
  • Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, or other topographical or geologic data.
  • Assist in preparing construction documents, including drawings and specifications for site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, soil erosion, sediment control, and landscaping.
  • Estimate quantities and materials, equipment, or labor costs to determine project feasibility.
  • Assist in stormwater management design.
  • Perform construction support services, including providing timely data, shop drawing review, and client coordination.
  • Partner with your manager to tailor your career path towards YOUR vision - a technical design expert or project/staff management
