Summary

The Associate Product Manager supports market research, competitive analysis, and new product introductions to ensure the product line grows sustainably and aligns with customer needs. This role focuses on using data analytics to guide product lifecycle decisions, including pricing, performance evaluations, and strategic planning. The position also collaborates closely with sales, marketing, and engineering to drive revenue and product visibility. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to develop their product skillset in a collaborative environment while contributing to a fast-growing business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead data analytics to inform product life cycle activities including product enhancements, rationalization, and end-of-life planning.
  • Collect and analyze product and market data to refine pricing strategies and optimize profitability across the product line.
  • Compile and generate product performance and reliability data to support application engineering and business development.
  • Assist in market and competitive analysis efforts to provide price benchmarks, identify white-space opportunities, unmet needs, and emerging trends.
  • Support the development and execution of a comprehensive product line strategy that positions the portfolio for sustainable growth.
  • Participate in new product introduction initiatives, ensuring that customer and market insights guide product development and maximize market share.
  • Collaborate with marketing to elevate product visibility through launches, campaigns, digital tools, trade shows, and other promotional activities.
  • Contribute to the development of sales enablement tools and customer-facing materials.
  • Engage directly with customers alongside the sales team to promote solutions, secure design wins, and drive revenue growth.
  • Contribute to process and system improvements across ERP, pricing workflows, capacity planning, and other operational areas.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor or equivalent four-year degree in engineering or applied sciences from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
  • Proven skills in data analysis, including experience using tools such as Excel, SQL, as well as analytics and dashboarding platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to query data, interpret product metrics, and generate actionable insights.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and learning new tools or concepts quickly.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and collaboration skills, with proven ability to work effectively across multifunctional teams.
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical and business requirements.
  • Ability to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 3 years of experience in a hardware manufacturing environment, including internships.
  • Basic project management experience including familiarity with project workflow and timeline tools.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to break down ambiguous problems into actionable steps.
