What Youll Do

  • Support a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment that promotes childrens physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development
  • Assist the Lead Teacher with lesson planning, curriculum implementation, documentation, and daily classroom activities
  • Provide positive guidance and build strong relationships that support childrens learning and family engagement
  • Prepare classroom materials and maintain routines that support healthy habits, including nutrition and self-care practices
  • Serve as Lead Teacher in their absence, helping coordinate and manage daily classroom operations
  • Maintain communication with families and staff while ensuring confidentiality, completing required trainings, and following mandated reporting responsibilities

  • Must enroll in a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential program (to be completed within 2 years of hire)
