Role Overview

We are seeking a Learning Design Specialist to design and enhance innovative, high-quality learning experiences, with a focus on AI-powered education tools. In this role, you will partner with product and education teams to apply learning science principles, improve teaching experiences, and shape next-generation educational solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop engaging learning programs, curriculum, and instructional materials aligned with business and user needs

Partner with product teams to improve AI-driven education features using learning science best practices

Evaluate learning products (including AI tutoring systems) and provide actionable recommendations

Prototype and refine new education solutions, including prompt design and content development

Conduct learning needs analysis and define measurable learning objectives

Monitor learning effectiveness through metrics, feedback, and reporting, driving continuous improvement

Create training resources such as guides, multimedia assets, and learning aids

Drive cross-functional collaboration and influence stakeholders to adopt effective learning strategies.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience as a K-12 or college educator/tutor (Math or Science preferred)

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Computer Science, or related field

Strong instructional design and curriculum development experience

Experience with GenAI tools and prompt engineering for educational use cases

Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills

Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)

Preferred

Knowledge of learning science and pedagogical research

Experience with edtech products or AI-based learning tools

Data analysis and evaluation skills

Pay Details: $66.40 per hour
