About the role:

Under the direction of the Warehouse Lead, the material handler will be responsible of the cleanliness and proper functioning of your equipment, placing the parameters in equipment according to specifications and procedures for the preparation of chocolate.

Key responsibilities include:

Responsible for visual inspection of all inbound materials prior to acceptance and unloading to ensure conformance as well as inspection of staged loads, SU numbers and customer specifications.

Perform sample checks on inbound materials as required.

Assign and store all inbound materials.

Supplier of raw materials and packaging to internal customers. Restock unused materials as needed.

Complete daily cycle counts accurately per established auditing guidelines.

Daily maintenance and inspection of all motorized equipment prior to use.

Support special project needs as is necessary.

Using company approved safety protection and procedures only, dislodge super bags when necessary.

Promote a safe and inclusive work environment.

Notify the leader in charge of any anomaly that is outside the procedure.

Respect the safety rules and take care of yourself and your colleagues respecting and following the safety procedures in force in the company.

Report unsafe acts and conditions.

Participate in mandatory training sessions.

Commit to fulfill the expectations of quality and service of the clients, as well as the current regulatory compliance applicable to the food industry.

Responsible for reporting any situation of potential or real danger to your superior and the Quality department.

Keep the area, tools and equipment in your care clean and tidy.

Firmly follow the GMP's.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalency.

Work Experience:

Minimum of two years' experience in a warehouse environment including familiarity material handling equipment, warehouse layout, storage and retrieval in a food-manufacturing environment.

Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

SAP work experience preferred.

Forklift experience required.

Good organization, math, written and oral communication, detail orientated, interpersonal skills.

Self-motivated, must work autonomously with a minimum of supervision.

Must be able to adhere to all GMP and food safety rules. Additional Requirements:

Detail & results oriented.

Ability to lift at least 25 Kg (50 Lbs.)

Available for overtime when required.

Available to work on the weekends.
