About Think Zone
Think Zone is a growing Bay Area learning center focused on helping K-8 students build stronger math skills and greater confidence in learning.
We combine high-quality curriculum, personalized learning, and dedicated educators to create an experience that works for both students and families. As we continue to grow, we're looking for people who are excited to grow with us.
About the Role
We're looking for a Learning Center Manager to take ownership of our Redwood City center and help make it a place where students, families, and tutors have a great experience.
This isn't a role where you'll spend your entire day behind a desk. You'll be at the center of the action-connecting with parents, supporting students, leading tutors, solving day-to-day challenges, and finding new ways to help the center grow.
You don't need to come from a traditional management background. If you're organized, great with people, comfortable taking initiative, and excited to develop your leadership skills, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
Be the Go-To Person for Students & Families
  • Welcome students and families and create a positive center experience
  • Build relationships with parents and regularly communicate about their child's experience
  • Help prospective families learn more about Think Zone and find the right program
  • Follow up with trial students and support the enrollment process
Keep the Center Running Smoothly
  • Manage daily center operations, schedules, and classroom needs
  • Coordinate tutors and ensure classes are properly supported
  • Maintain an organized, welcoming, and professional learning environment
  • Handle day-to-day questions and solve issues as they come up
Help Grow the Center
  • Support local marketing and community outreach
  • Build relationships with nearby schools, families, and community organizations
  • Participate in events and other enrollment initiatives
  • Work with the broader Think Zone team to identify opportunities for growth
Lead & Support the Team
  • Help recruit, onboard, and train tutors
  • Provide ongoing support, coaching, and feedback
  • Coordinate schedules and team communication
  • Build a positive and accountable center culture
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized and comfortable balancing multiple responsibilities
  • Proactive and willing to take ownership
  • Comfortable communicating with parents and families
  • Enjoys working with children and supporting a team
  • Available for full-time, in-person work in Redwood City

Experience in education, tutoring, customer service, operations, sales, or team leadership is helpful, but previous learning center management experience is not required.
More than anything, we're looking for someone with the potential and motivation to grow into a strong leader.
Your Growth at Think Zone
We want this role to be more than just your next job.
As Think Zone expands, successful Center Managers will have opportunities to take on greater responsibility and grow into multi-center and regional leadership positions.
Learning Center Manager โ†’ Regional Manager โ†’ Regional Director
You'll receive training, ongoing feedback, and support as you develop your skills across operations, people management, customer experience, and business growth.
Your Schedule & Time Off
This position is approximately 35 hours per week and works 48 weeks per year.
The center has four scheduled weeks off each year:
  • July 4th week
  • Thanksgiving week
  • Christmas week
  • New Year's week
Why Join Think Zone?
At Think Zone, you'll have the opportunity to see the impact of your work firsthand. You'll help students grow, build relationships with families, develop a team, and play an important role in growing a learning center.
If you're looking for an opportunity where you can take ownership, build leadership experience, and grow alongside a growing education company, we'd love to hear from you.
