Job description

TBest Services Inc. is seeking an organized and detail-oriented HR & Operations Coordinator to support one of our clients in the electronics manufacturing industry.
This role supports daily HR administration, recruiting coordination, onboarding and offboarding, employee records, payroll and benefits coordination, company asset tracking, and general operations support. The ideal candidate is reliable, accurate, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where follow-through, confidentiality, and clear communication are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Recruiting and Onboarding
  • Draft and update job descriptions for open positions
  • Post jobs and review incoming applications
  • Screen resumes and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
  • Prepare new hire paperwork and assist with onboarding
  • Support new hire orientation and employee setup
  • Assist with offboarding, exit paperwork, and return of company property

HR Administration
  • Maintain employee files, HR records, and internal documentation
  • Track employee forms, acknowledgments, training records, and policy documents
  • Assist with HR procedures, employee communication, and handbook updates
  • Handle confidential employee information with professionalism
  • Support compliance-related documentation and recordkeeping

Employee Support
  • Respond to employee questions related to policies, PTO, payroll, benefits, and general HR procedures
  • Help managers with employee documentation and follow-up
  • Support employee communication and workplace coordination
  • Assist with basic employee relations matters and escalate sensitive issues as needed

Payroll, Benefits, and Attendance Support
  • Coordinate payroll-related updates with the payroll or finance team
  • Track PTO, attendance records, employee changes, and related updates
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and general questions
  • Help maintain accurate employee status and payroll information

Training and Performance Support
  • Track required training and maintain training records
  • Coordinate training sessions, workshops, and compliance-related learning
  • Assist with performance review scheduling and documentation
  • Support managers with employee development documentation when needed

Operations and Asset Support
  • Track company-issued equipment, technology assets, access credentials, and related employee items
  • Coordinate equipment assignment and return during onboarding and offboarding
  • Support internal process documentation and administrative follow-up
  • Assist management with operational reports, employee updates, and workflow coordination

Reporting and Process Support
  • Prepare basic HR and operations reports related to hiring, onboarding, attendance, training, and workforce activity
  • Help identify gaps in documentation, communication, and internal processes
  • Support improvements that make HR and daily operations more organized and efficient

Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in HR coordination, HR administration, recruiting support, office administration, payroll coordination, or operations support
  • Experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, electronics, or industrial environments is preferred
  • Basic understanding of HR procedures, employee records, onboarding, and compliance documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, HRIS systems, payroll platforms, or similar tools
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or related HR certification is a plus but not required
