As the Learning Development Specialist, you support the daily operations of the Human Resources department by delivering effective new hire orientations, leadership training, and professional development programs. You help reinforce company culture, improve team member performance, and support operational excellence by facilitating meaningful and engaging learning experiences for both team members and leaders.

Job Description:

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture
  • Facilitate in-person training classes aligned with learning objectives and approved curriculum
  • Assist in the development and implementation of onboarding, leadership, and operational training programs
  • Create training materials and internal communications to support team member development and Human Resources initiatives
  • Maintain training records and documentation; track internal and external training completions
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through testing, feedback, and reporting
  • Partner with HR team members and department leaders to ensure consistent delivery of training aligned with company standards
  • Contribute to internal communications and HR-related events as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 4 years of Training and Development experience in a gaming or hospitality industry
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
  • Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment
  • Skilled in presenting training content to individuals and groups effectively
  • Demonstrated understanding of leadership development, program planning, and performance evaluation
  • Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word; familiarity with collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams

  • At least 21 years of age
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
