Envision Radiology, a 100% ESOP-owned company, seeks a Director of Learning & Development to join the team!
Monday - Friday | Position Pay Range: $147,000 - $183,750
Opportunity for an additional, discretionary bonus available
This role requires travel to Colorado Springs, CO, approximately 1–3 times per quarter.

Summary/Objective

The Director of Learning & Development develops and leads a comprehensive learning strategy that strengthens employee capabilities, supports leadership effectiveness, and advances Envision Radiology's business objectives and culture. This position oversees enterprise-wide learning programs, onboarding, leadership development, career development, compliance education, and learning technology. The role creates a consistent, engaging, and measurable employee learning experience across the organization.

Essential Functions

1. Provides leadership and operational support to the Learning & Development Department while executing strategies aligned with the company's mission, values, and objectives.

2. Develops and implements an enterprise-wide learning and development strategy addressing current and future workforce capability needs.

3. Oversees structured onboarding, role readiness, leadership development, career development, and internal mobility programs.

4. Partners with senior leaders, Human Resources, Operations, Compliance, and subject matter experts to assess learning needs and establish training priorities.

5. Designs, develops, delivers, and evaluates instructor-led, virtual, digital, on-demand, and blended learning solutions.

6. Leads leadership and managerial development programs that strengthen accountability, communication, coaching, performance management, and organizational alignment.

7. Oversees required compliance and regulatory training, including completion tracking and documentation.

8. Manages the learning management system, learning content, vendor relationships, reporting, and departmental budget.

9. Establishes learning metrics and evaluates participation, knowledge transfer, behavior change, program effectiveness, and business impact.

10. Evaluates the Learning & Development Department's structure and staffing plan to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

11. Fosters a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, ownership, and professional growth. 12. Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position provides daily leadership and operational support to the Learning & Development Department. This position is also responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within the department.

Job Qualifications

Job Qualifications/Experience:

• Seven-plus years of progressive experience in learning and development, organizational development, training, or a related field, including leadership experience preferred.

• Demonstrated experience developing and executing enterprise learning strategies and programs.

• Strong knowledge of adult-learning principles, instructional-design methodologies, facilitation practices, and learning evaluation.

• Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics.

• Proficiency with learning management systems, digital learning tools, and data analysis.

• Experience managing multiple programs, priorities, vendors, and stakeholders in a fast paced environment.

• Detail-oriented, self-motivated problem solver and team player.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced team environment.

• Ability to consistently exceed company and customer expectations.

• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.

Education/Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in learning and development, organizational development, education, human resources, business, or a related field desired; or equivalent education, training, and experience.

• Professional certification in learning and development, instructional design, talent development, or human resources preferred, such as CPTD, APTD, SHRM-SCP, or SPHR.
