Why We Need you!
The Business Development Representative is a precision instrument. They will use Ivanti's tools to diagnose precisely where a potential/existing customer is in their buying cycle. Then use that information to strategically target the appropriate contact/s using value drivers, radically relevant messaging and a multi-pronged approach over different channels to set meetings for Sales Specialists and Account Managers. These meetings will vary based on the needs of the customer and will span Awareness, Pipeline Generation & Pipeline Acceleration. This role will be home based with team meet ups in Austin, Texas a couple of times a month so a reasonable commuting distance is required.
What You Will Be Doing:
  • Maintain activity in "Outreach" consistent with attaining and exceeding commissionable metrics (meetings & bookings). This activity includes but is not limited to phone calls, emails & other types or outreach on various social platforms to new logo and named account prospects

  • Develop strategies with assigned POD leaders/sales specialists to prospect new accounts.

  • Display the ability to multi-task, learn and master contact management in Salesforce.com, 6th Sense & Outreach

  • The ability to qualify customers fully and get them to commit to further contact with sales team members, as well as, providing all the relevant information documented in Salesforce to help the sales team find, generate, accelerate and close opportunities

  • The ability to use Ivanti's set of tools and resources to identify buying behaviors in existing customers as well as new logo prospects and strategize with POD leaders/Specialists to coordinate an effective outreach effort

  • Work closely with the marketing team to follow up on marketing campaigns while also creatively developing strategies to take prospects to contacts and then into a qualified meeting

  • The savvy to determine the type of meeting a prospect requires Awareness Light, Awareness, Pipeline Generation or Pipeline Acceleration and approach the prospect accordingly

To Be Successful in The Role, You Will Have:
  • Must have strong business acumen with the ability to manage potentially difficult situations

  • Telemarketing, inside sales, lead generation experience, social selling, and prospecting is advantageous but if you are a social seller, in the service industry and driven to exceed we can give you the tools.

  • Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Must have excellent time management, decision making, and organization skills

  • Ability to qualify large numbers of prospects tenaciously, but maintain the ability to move on from losses

  • Must have a strong desire to be a top sales performer
