Job description

Summary

The Apple IS&T SAP Learning & Development (L&D) team focuses on helping to enable a culture of innovation and learning, to foster everyone’s growth and development.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of technical trainers and project managers to enable key deliverables
  • Own L&D strategic roadmap for all employee onboarding, technical training, and employee development programs.
  • Oversee content development to ensure team deliverables are high quality and meet organization requirements.
  • Collaborate with other IS&T leaders, the People Team, and Apple University to understand, evolve, create, and respond to training opportunities and initiatives to develop best in class learning solutions.
  • Evaluate, track, and report on the impact of training and programs to senior leadership.
  • Identify new opportunities and evaluate existing opportunities to improve training measures.
  • Support org readiness & training programs for roll‑out of new tools, processes, & people development initiatives. Focus on AI powered Learning platforms
  • Drive innovative approaches to L&D that engages and excites learners through new learning methodologies and guide process/policy improvements.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities (marketing, tools, workstreams, systems) and drive solutions from conception through implementation.
  • Drive Innovation and roadmap of delivering GenAI Learning platforms
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5 years of experience developing and facilitating technical learning programs such as courses, case studies, and tutorials for software engineering or other technical areas
  • 5 years of experience in engineering, information design, training and development, program management, or a related field
  • Experience with digital, live‑streamed, and in‑person event environments, platforms, and tools
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, Organizational Leadership, Adult Learning, Instructional Design, or equivalent work experience, required

  • A passion for training, development, and technology‑focused solutions
  • A firm grasp of training principles and methodologies, or the ability to quickly learn in this area
  • Demonstrated success consulting with senior leaders and partners and synthesizing needs into program plans

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, to foster close collaboration between teams and leaders

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $141,800 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You’ll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition.
