Business Development Representative, McLean & Co

Are you a motivated self-starter with a passion for sales and building relationships? McLean & Company, a division of Info-Tech Research Group, is looking for driven Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to fuel our continued growth.

Whether you're early in your career and eager to break into B2B sales, or you've got some experience and are looking to take the next step, we'll equip you with hands-on training, mentorship, and a clear path to grow, all within a high-performance, HIGH-REWARD culture. With a strong starting salary, uncapped commission, and significant earning potential as you build your pipeline and close deals, plus exciting incentives like a yearly top-performer trip, McLean & Company gives you everything you need to succeed.

About Us:

McLean & Company is one of the fastest-growing HR Advisory Firms in North America. We partner with C-Suite Leaders in HR, Talent, and Learning & Development to deliver measurable business results through best practice research, actionable tools and templates, proprietary surveys, learning programs, facilitated workshops, and one-on-one advisory from our team of experts.

What You'll Do:

As a Business Development Representative, you'll be on the front lines of our sales efforts, focused on generating and qualifying new business opportunities for our Account Executive team. Your primary goal is to open the door to valuable conversations with HR leaders and position McLean & Company as their trusted advisory partner. This role is designed to build strong, foundational sales skills, including prospecting, outreach, and pipeline management, that set you up for long-term success in your sales career.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and identify potential clients and key contacts within target organizations. Engage prospects through outbound phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels to initiate conversations and qualify interest. Schedule qualified meetings for Account Executives by clearly articulating McLean & Company's value proposition. Manage and maintain a healthy pipeline of leads using CRM tools such as Salesforce. Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to refine messaging, share feedback from the field, and support campaign execution. Stay up to date on industry trends and company offerings to tailor outreach effectively.

What You Bring:

Post-secondary education or equivalent experience. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A persistent, goal-oriented mindset with a passion for outreach and relationship building. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment. Comfort learning new tools and technology (CRM experience, like Salesforce, is a bonus but not required). Coachability and a hunger to learn, whatever stage of your sales career you're at. Prior B2B sales or customer-facing experience is a strong asset, but not required.

Why Join Us:

Hands-On Training: A structured onboarding program and ongoing coaching to set you up for success from day one. Strong Earning Potential: A strong starting salary plus uncapped commission, with real room to grow your income as you grow your skills. Career Development: Clear, defined growth paths into senior sales roles. Health & Wellness: Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and retirement plans. Company Culture: A collaborative, energetic, and supportive team environment. Recognition & Rewards: Monthly incentives, President's Club trip for top performers, and ongoing recognition.
