Job Summary
The PCB Development Consultant will deliver targeted skill building and core training to the licensed banker population to build confidence and skills with the branch teams, delivering on the Mass Affluent Strategy. The PCB Development Consultant collaborates, partners and influences the KIS ML, Market Retail Leaders, and Area Retail leaders to close gaps performance gaps.
Responsibilities
  • Foster and champion the training & development of a 'best in class' team of Key Private Client sales professionals throughout their first year of development as a Licensed Banker; inclusive of obtaining licenses, through putting it into practice and refining skills and approach.
  • Execute on a 1 year licensing onboarding plan to support individual performance success.
  • Leads a cohort group of new PCB's throughout their first year, acting as the portal and catalyst for skill development - connecting the dots into a successful Branch Banker.
  • Facilitate supplemental learning strategies across Affluent and Emerging Segments. Areas of focus may include business acumen, skill building, product education, etc.; partner with Learning & Development to ensure alignment with HR functions and policy
  • Assist in both the strategic & tactical management of the licensed banker program within markets
  • Assisting PCB's in the 'art of the conversation' through specific skill building activities and wealth analysis debrief
  • Stays in tune with progress against KPI's by Territory/Region to bring attention to markets that need more training/development; Identifies performance trends, identifies developmental needs / gaps and provides coaching techniques and recommendations to improve performance.
  • Culture carrier of KPC through observing, bringing forward observations, sharing best practices and areas of improvement; Escalate and elevate KPC related best practices, opportunities, and challenges to continuously improve the KPC model
  • Active involvement in talent acquisition for the Licensed Banker role by being involved in the initial interview process
  • Coordinate and Support market tactics to educate and build skill within PCB population
  • Develop and maintain a strong partnership with all Regional Leadership in order to lead and impact with influence
  • Deliver PCBU for newly Licensed Bankers
  • Confirm Collaboration & Commitment from Retail & KIS Leadership is focused on continuing to build PCB acumen and confidence to ensure their ability to perform at their maximum potential
  • Performs other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and/or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice
  • Complies with all KeyBank policies and procedures, including without limitation, acting professionally at all times, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Key's clients and Key.

Education Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent business experience (required)

Experience Qualifications
  • 5+ years Experience in performance coaching (required)
  • 5+ years Experiece in financial services / investment industry with knowledge and understanding of the retail banking environment and affluent client markets (required)
  • Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and effectively lead a team (required)
  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members (required)

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
