Ashtabula offers a charming lakeside community along Lake Erie with affordable living and a strong sense of community. The city provides excellent outdoor recreation opportunities and is conveniently located within driving distance of major metropolitan areas like Cleveland.
Facility:
This is a 186-bed acute care community hospital that is an affiliate of the Cleveland Clinic and fully accredited by the Joint Commission. The facility has received several national recognitions from groups such as Leap Frog and Health Grades for quality and patient safety, and operates as a Level I trauma center.
Opportunity:
Physician - Surgery - Orthopedic
Job Details:
• Outpatient clinic, hospital, and surgical blocks practice setting
• Join 2 physicians currently in practice
• 100% adult patient population
• 95% office/clinic practice, 5% inpatient practice
• On-site lab and X-ray facilities available
• 2-3 exam rooms with ancillary staff including 1 nurse and 1 receptionist
• EMR system: EPIC
• On call 10 days per month
• Must live within 40-mile radius or be willing to relocate
• Board Eligible (within 5 years) or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery required
• Ohio medical license required or willing to obtain
• BLS and ACLS certification required or willing to obtain
• Comprehensive orthopedic procedures including arthritis, fractures, joint injuries, rotator cuff tears, carpal tunnel syndrome, and various musculoskeletal conditions
• Experience with corticosteroid injections and hyaluronic acid injections
• Handle foot and ankle deformities, spine injuries, and bone infections
• Open to H1B visa candidates
• Qualifying employer for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program
