Job Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS:

  • Lead implementation of R&D projects and evaluate new technologies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support product and process development, with emphasis on adhesive and sealer applications.
  • Collaborate with production teams and technical experts to generate ideas, conduct trials, and implement solutions.
  • Develop, review, and strengthen systems and controls, including linking failures to FMEAs, Control Plans, and customer requirements.
  • Monitor performance through audits, documentation, and analysis; identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with quality (QS9000), maintenance (preventive/predictive), and safety standards, while supporting additional duties as needed.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:

  • Associate degree in technical discipline AND six months to one year experience/training;
  • OR a Technical Apprenticeship with Certification or Journeyman Card AND six months to one year experience/training;
  • OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • OR a minimum of 5 years in a technical position.

WORK EXPERIENCE/ TECHNICAL TRAINING:

  • Minimum5years of automated manufacturing technical experiencerequired.
  • Robust understandinginrobotics programming.
  • Experience in problem solving and root cause analysis is desired.
  • Strong organizational,communicationsand problem-solving skillsrequired. Skilled inusingPC and complex software including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of1K and 2KSealerSystems:Pneumatic pumps, Hoses (some heated), Shot meter(doser), Inlet/Outlet(dispense)valves
