Position Summary:

Coordinate Lean activities in the region and support the implementation & application of Lean Principles to production processes to detect and eliminate waste, increase operational performance and create an environment of continuous improvement.

What you can look forward to as the Regional Lean Coordinator:

  • Support the Head of the Region/ regional leader to implement & maintain the LEADS system in the region and to achieve LEADS objectives in the plants within the region.
  • Guarantee that LEADS is fully understood and communicated within the region.
  • Act as an active part of the LEADS Core Team representing the region, supporting method developments and improvements.
  • Support industrialization projects.
  • Lead and manage operational excellence initiatives across the plants in the region.
  • Analyze logistics & production processes and indicators and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Initiate and realize changes in cooperation with the plant / department managers as well as the Lean Coordinators on plant level to improve training, processes, material flows and labor utilization.
  • Assure that exclusively harmonized LEADS methods and tools are applied within the plant to implement LEADS.
  • Train regional & plant management, trainers and coordinators in
    LEADS methods according to the LEADS method box, e.g. Value Stream Mapping, 5S, elimination of waste and Standardized Work Procedures.
  • Facilitate Lean Maturity Check (LMC) to monitor the improvement progress within the regional plants.
  • Prepare internal reports periodically and as requested.
  • Guarantee compliance with ZFFCN policies and procedures

Your Profile as a Regional Lean Coordinator:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering; or equivalent
  • Min. 3 years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Familiar with manufacturing processes and production methods
  • Profound knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experienced moderator and teambuilding know-how
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Fluent English
  • Must be Authorized to work in the United States - This position does not provide sponsorship.
  • Spanish and or German language skills will be helpful but not required

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3 - 5+ Years of Experience
