Job description

Chevron is accepting online applications for the role of Enterprise Leading Performance Senior Analyst until Wednesday July 29th at 11.59pm Central time.
Prepares finance analytical and decision support, management reporting, forecasting, business planning, and other analytics as appropriate for the benefit of the Enterprise Leading Performance team. Leads projects of significant complexity under minimal supervision. Provides organizational and consolidated financial information and statements: budgets, forecasts, General & Administrative (G&A) and non-G&A expenses. Work regularly has enterprise and BU level impact. Detailed knowledge of work function, related functions, and industry practices.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant Finance experience.
  • Experience in financial analysis, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and/or business performance analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze large and complex datasets and translate findings into business recommendations.
  • Experience developing financial models, interpreting financial data, and providing decision support to management.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience building data models and using data visualization, leveraging tools such as Power Query, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex financial information to a variety of stakeholders, including leadership teams.

Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or master's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience in energy, oil & gas, industrial, manufacturing, or other capital-intensive industries.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-level planning, performance reporting, or finance transformation initiatives.
  • Advanced expertise in Power BI, dashboard development, automation, and data storytelling.
  • Experience leading large, complex projects with enterprise-wide impact.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams and building effective stakeholder relationships.
