Job description

Description:

About Us

At Gifthealth, we're revolutionizing the way people experience healthcare by simplifying the process of managing prescriptions and health services. Our mission is to provide a seamless, personalized, and efficient healthcare experience for all our customers. We're a dynamic, innovative, and customer-centric company dedicated to making a positive impact on people's lives.

Position Summary

The Leadership Development Manager builds the programs that turn Gifthealth's people into its biggest advantage. Sitting within the Enterprise Learning & Development function and reporting to the Senior Director of Enterprise Learning & Development, this role owns the strategy and day-to-day execution behind leadership development and employee growth across the company, designing experiences that sharpen skills, deepen accountability, and connect every team member's development to Gifthealth's broader outcomes.

This person designs, delivers, and measures programs that develop leaders at every level and help individual contributors grow into their next role, partnering closely with the Senior Director of Enterprise Learning & Development, department heads, and managers to diagnose skill gaps, build learning paths, and embed development into how Gifthealth operates day to day rather than as a once-a-year event.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership Development

  • Design and run a leadership development curriculum covering new-manager onboarding, mid-level leadership skills, and executive coaching pathways.
  • Coach and advise people managers on team development, feedback practices, and performance conversations.
  • Build succession and readiness plans in partnership with department leaders to prepare high-potential employees for their next role.
  • Facilitate leadership workshops and offsites that translate strategy into practical leadership behaviors.

Employee Development & Growth

  • Create individualized and team-level growth plans tied to career paths, skill gaps, and business priorities.
  • Own the skills framework that defines what growth looks like at each level and in each function.
  • Champion internal mobility by connecting employees to stretch assignments, mentorship, and cross-functional opportunities.
  • Measure the impact of development programs using engagement, retention, and performance data, and adjust based on what the data shows.

Program Design & Delivery

  • Build and maintain the annual leadership and employee development calendar, budget, and vendor relationships, including LMS platform management.
  • Develop onboarding and continuing-education content that reflects Gifthealth's values and the realities of the business.
  • Partner with the Senior Director of Enterprise Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, and department leaders to keep development programs aligned with the enterprise L&D strategy and workforce plans.
Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years of experience in learning and development, organizational development, or a related HR discipline, including at least 2 years designing leadership programs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven experience building programs from scratch, not just administering an existing curriculum.
  • Strong facilitation and coaching skills, with experience presenting to and coaching senior leaders.
  • Comfort with data, including using engagement and performance metrics to prove program impact.
  • Experience with an LMS or learning platform and familiarity with instructional design principles.
  • Experience operating within a larger enterprise L&D function, including aligning program work to a broader function's strategy, is a plus.
  • Healthcare or highly regulated industry experience is a plus, but not required.
Work Environment

Location: Hybrid

Schedule: Full-time.

May require additional availability or flexibility for workshops, offsites, or leadership sessions.

Regular meetings with the Senior Director of Enterprise Learning & Development, department leaders, and Talent Acquisition to ensure alignment.
