What is a leadership intern?

Leadership Interns are students or recent graduates who participate in internship programs designed to develop their leadership skills within a professional setting. These internships typically involve working on projects, collaborating with teams, and receiving mentorship from experienced leaders. The goal is to provide hands-on experience in decision-making, problem-solving, and communication, preparing interns for future roles in management or leadership. Leadership internships are offered across various industries and often include workshops, networking opportunities, and feedback sessions.

What types of projects or responsibilities can a leadership intern expect to be involved with during their internship?

Leadership Interns are typically entrusted with a variety of projects that develop their management and teamwork skills. These may include assisting with team meetings, supporting program coordination, conducting research for strategic initiatives, or leading small group activities. Interns often collaborate closely with managers and cross-functional teams, providing valuable exposure to different leadership styles and organizational structures.
