Job description

About Us

Zinda Law Group is a rapidly growing and prestigious personal injury law firm based in Austin, Texas. Alongside the firm, we are building Zlayt AI - an innovative legal software company leveraging AI to revolutionize the legal industry. Together, these two companies represent an ambitious, vertically integrated vision for the future of law.

We are seeking candidates for our Leadership Development Program - a role for someone who aspires to lead at the highest level, is energized by building from the ground up, and is ready to own the growth engine of our organization.

As a Leadership Development Program participant, you'll work directly alongside our CEO and COO through a structured development program - learning the business from the inside out while taking real ownership of operations, execution, and scale. This program is intentionally designed to develop leaders and place them into key roles across our growing portfolio, including both Zinda Law Group and Zlayt AI.

Role Overview

The Leadership Development Program is a full-time, salaried program designed to grow exceptional operators into senior leaders. This is not a passive training role - participants take on real responsibility from day one, working alongside the CEO and COO to run the business while developing the skills and perspective needed to step into leadership roles across the organization.

As a participant, you will gain hands-on experience across operations, business development, and company management. The program offers mentorship, cross-functional training, and genuine ownership in a fast-moving environment. You'll learn to drive results, cultivate a strong team culture, and develop a deep understanding of the business models powering Zinda's growth - with the goal of transitioning into a leadership role within Zinda Law Group or Zlayt AI.

This person will also act as the "glue" of the organization during their tenure - translating vision into reality by building scalable systems, driving accountability, and fostering cross-functional execution.

Leadership Development Program participants will:

  • Partner directly with the CEO and COO to translate vision and product strategy into operational plans.
  • Build the infrastructure (processes, systems, dashboards) to enable rapid growth across both Zinda Law Group and Zlayt AI.
  • Align leadership and functional heads on priorities, KPIs, and accountability.
  • Drive execution of quarterly/annual goals and ensure metrics-driven decision making.
  • Identify and solve cross-departmental friction points before they escalate.
  • Scale and professionalize operational practices without stifling innovation.
  • Serve as a thought partner, providing a pragmatic counterbalance to visionary leadership.
  • Progressively assume greater leadership responsibilities as trust, performance, and tenure develop.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Participate in on-the-job training across all operational functions and oversee daily execution of company goals.
  • Executive Partnering: Work directly alongside the CEO and COO across departments to understand and drive the full scope of the business.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to company-wide OKRs and ensure alignment and follow-through across the organization.
  • Project Ownership: Lead real projects and contribute to real-time solutions within the organization.
  • Financial Stewardship: Collaborate with finance on budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Process Optimization: Implement systems for communication, project management, and reporting.
  • Culture & Leadership Development: Align leadership skills while embodying the core values of Zinda Law Group and Zlayt AI, preserving our entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Self-Study: Engage in structured learning on industry best practices, legal tech, and operational leadership.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of proven leadership experience.
  • Strong track record of building and leading successful teams.
  • Ability to create a vision and drive results.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: scrappy, adaptable, and execution-driven.
  • Financial acumen and comfort with P&L responsibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred).
  • Experience in operations, general management, or scaling start-ups - preferably in AI or tech.
  • Background in business development, marketing, or financial management.
  • Experience working with visionary founders and fast-moving teams.
  • Proven ability to drive culture and lead with passion.

What's in It for You

  • A structured Leadership Development Program intentionally designed to place high performers into key roles across our portfolio - including Zinda Law Group and Zlayt AI.
  • Be a part of building two companies that are reshaping the legal industry - a premier personal injury firm and a cutting-edge AI legal software platform.
  • Directly influence the company's growth and success, with rewards tied to your impact.
  • Mentorship and ongoing operational support from Zinda's founding leadership team.
  • Access to health insurance and benefits to support your well-being.
  • Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a supportive and ambitious team.
  • Earn both a stable salary and share in the company's success through revenue sharing.

Benefits

  • We are looking to hire 2-4 candidates for this role at different levels, with the salary range reflecting a broad spectrum of experience and career stages.
  • We offer a highly competitive salary to attract A-players who thrive in a high-performance culture.
  • Bonus potential tied to company growth milestones.
  • Health Insurance & Benefits: Comprehensive health insurance and additional benefits provided.
