Business Development Manager

Phoenix, AZ | Hybrid
Base Salary: $90,000 to $110,000, depending on experience
OTE: $140,000
Commission: Uncapped

NOW CFO is looking for a proven Business Development Manager to help drive growth across the Phoenix market.

This is a highly visible, relationship driven role for someone who knows how to build credibility with business owners and executives, develop a strong referral network, and turn meaningful relationships into new business. You will have significant ownership over the market and the opportunity to represent NOW CFO throughout the Phoenix business community.

NOW CFO provides outsourced accounting, finance, and strategic consulting solutions to businesses ranging from growing organizations to larger, more complex companies across a wide variety of industries.

What Youll Do
  • Generate new business through networking, referrals, strategic partnerships, prospecting, LinkedIn, and community involvement
  • Build trusted relationships with CEOs, CFOs, business owners, investors, and other executive decision makers
  • Develop referral partnerships with CPA firms, banks, private equity firms, attorneys, and other Centers of Influence
  • Lead discovery conversations with businesses ranging from emerging companies to larger, more complex organizations
  • Understand operational, accounting, and financial challenges and identify opportunities where NOW CFO can provide value
  • Qualify opportunities and partner with NOW CFO leadership to develop the right client solution
  • Maintain momentum throughout the sales cycle and build long term client and referral relationships
  • Attend, host, and participate in events that strengthen NOW CFOs presence throughout Phoenix
  • Manage pipeline activity, forecasting, and follow up within the CRM
  • Collaborate closely with local and regional leadership, Directors, and consultants

  • 5 to 7 years of successful business development, consultative sales, relationship management, or advisory experience
  • Strong connections within the Phoenix business community and a genuine interest in being active in the market
  • Proven ability to build relationships with business owners, executives, and senior decision makers
  • Confidence navigating conversations with larger and more sophisticated organizations
  • Experience generating opportunities through networking, referrals, partnerships, and direct outreach
  • Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to understand complex client needs

  • Self directed, organized, resilient, and comfortable owning a pipeline
