About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Lead Site Reliability Engineer to support enterprise banking platforms by improving system reliability, scalability, and operational performance. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure, Terraform, observability, automation, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver resilient, cloud-based solutions.
Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and support highly available, scalable, and resilient applications and cloud infrastructure.
• Develop observability solutions using Dynatrace, OpenTelemetry, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
• Define and manage SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, and lead incident response and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Build Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and automate deployments through CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system performance, resiliency, capacity planning, and operational excellence.
Requirements
• 11+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong expertise with Microsoft Azure, Terraform, Dynatrace, OpenTelemetry, Azure Monitor, and Application Insights.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, incident management, monitoring, and cloud-native architectures.
• Hands-on experience with SRE principles, performance tuning, capacity planning, disaster recovery, and high-availability systems.
• Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar languages, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
