Content Design at Cvent
We're looking for a talented content designer and strong design thinker to join our User Experience (UX) team.
As part of the UX team at Cvent, content designers bring empathy, delight, and a human-centered approach to UX design. We do more than just look at the words. We advocate for our users by collaborating with product designers, researchers, product managers, and more to craft a product narrative that guides users through our products and gets them the information they need when they need it. In This Role, You Will:
  • Understand the event management industry, Cvent's business, and how your product area connects to the overall user journey
  • Drive and advocate for content design and User Experience (UX) throughout the organization
  • Drive vision and strategy for product language and content across all platforms
  • Work collaboratively in a cross-discipline team with the shared goal of improving the product experience and meeting our users' needs
  • Collaborate on projects while also working independently on deliverables
  • Mentor and guide junior designers and contribute to their career development plans
  • Lead workshops, brainstorming sessions, and design critiques
  • Write conversational microcopy that's inclusive, accessible, and localized for all audiences
  • Take complicated information and create easy-to-understand product copy that enhances usability and the product narrative
  • Articulate how your content decisions meet business objectives, user needs, and impact company revenue
  • Review, edit, and develop internal processes and documents
  • Support the maintenance of, and contribute to, our growing set of content guidelines
  • Partner with user researcher to research, analyze, and test content to create text that can be reused throughout the platform
