AI Senior Hardware Design Engineer (Liquid Thermal Cooling Server Racks)
Location: California – Bay Area | $175k - $200k

MUST HAVE: AI Server Cabinet and Liquid Cooling Thermal Design Experience.  Also, GB200 / GB300 Chip with High Speed Rack System Understanding.

This Position will Lead Efforts for New Product Planning and Management of Liquid Cooling Products. Server Cabinet, Launch and SOP Programs in AI Server Clusters or Cooling Systems for Data Centers. Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience. Must have GB300 Project Experience.

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Product Manager to lead the development and management of liquid cooling products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from gathering requirements to deployment, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. This role requires a strong understanding of software development processes and market analysis to deliver high-quality solutions that drive growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Solution Design and Support:
  • Responsible for the design, simulation, and optimization of key components in server liquid cooling systems, such as cold plates, manifolds, and sealing structures.
  • Responsible for the thermal design of other liquid cooling products, including liquid cold plates and radiators, such as those for IGBT cooling.
  • Lead the thermal management structural layout of liquid-cooled servers, collaborating with hardware, power supply, structural, and testing teams to complete the integration, assembly, and maintainability design of liquid-cooled servers.
  • Monitor industry trends in chip liquid cooling technology and participate in the research and have deep perspective of innovative solutions.
Customer Technical Support:
  • Act as the primary technical interface, participate in technical discussion with customers.
  • Perform professional communication skills, cooperate with internal RD team and promptly address customer's concern.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Energy and Power Engineering, Refrigeration, Thermal Control, or a related field, with a solid theoretical foundation in heat transfer, engineering thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and refrigeration principles.
  • Familiarity with data center design standards, current mainstream data center infrastructure, and liquid-cooled server design solutions. Understanding of liquid cooling industry trends.
  • At least 3 years of experience in engineering of cooling systems for data centers or AI server clusters, with at least one notable successful project in the past 3 years.
  • Excellent customer communication and needs analysis skills; strong on-site problem-solving and analytical abilities; proficient in technical documentation and project coordination.
  • Proficient in mainstream CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo (Pro/E), CATIA, or any other 3D drawing software) and CFD software (preferably Flotherm XT 3.0 or Fluent).
  • Experience participating in GB300 projects.
  • Fluent Chinese is an advantage.
