The Role

We are seeking a Research Analyst to join our team. Utilizing 100% proprietary datasets, youโ€™ll be writing reports uncovering and communicating forward looking trends that donโ€™t exist anywhere else - across hundreds of technology markets and thousands of companies. Reporting directly to the Director of Research, youโ€™ll help shape our research roadmap and products, and produce compelling, data-driven insights for investors and corporate strategy and marketing teams.

Responsibilities include:
  • Leverage the companyโ€™s proprietary datasets to produce insightful company and market reports across enterprise software & hardware, fintech, healthcare, and industrials tech for investment funds and corporate clients
  • Develop forward-looking analyses and uncover industry dynamics, key growth drivers, and demand shifts across key markets
  • Contribute thought leadership by creating high-impact content for our newsletter and client communications
  • Clearly and effectively communicate actionable insights to clients and prospects through reports, calls, and webinars
  • Communicate the benefits and use cases of our first-to-market research methodology, and develop metrics and analyses that best utilize our data inputs to address key narratives
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends, technologies, and innovators shaping the future of various markets and industries
  • Support go-to-market strategy and planning for new research initiatives and products
  • Partner with product team on design to create best-inโ€‘class selfโ€‘serve research platform
Required Experience
  • 2+ years professional experience in data-driven equity research, financial analysis, market research, and/or consulting roles
  • Long-form and short-form writing expertise required โ€“ you must be able to synthesize data and complex concepts into digestible, forward looking insights
  • Familiarity with the modern technology landscape in our covered industries
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to learn and iterate quickly โ€“ youโ€™ll be working with proprietary datasets and novel research methodologies, which will require quick iteration and learning through collaboration with your peers and manager
  • Proficiency in managing/analyzing large data sets. SQL experience is strongly preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
