GCM understands the challenges companies face when it comes to the skills and experience needed to fill the void of the day to day function.  Organizations need to reduce training and labor costs but at same requiring the best "talent " for the job. 


Qualifications

Responsibilities: 
Lead the design vision for our suite of products 
Create interaction and visual designs for new product features 
Identify areas for improvement based on our competitive landscape as well as industry trends and best practices 
Understand and clearly communicate the information architecture, workflows, and processes surrounding the user experience 
Work with developers to implement strategies that ensure technical success 
Qualifications: 
Proven experience designing modern and usable web applications 
Knowledge of industry design trends and has a strong opinion about UX best practices 
Has an expert eye for the proper use of type, space and color. 
Can create wireframes and also high-resolution final design and assets 
Understanding of Agile design practices and ability to deliver a minimum viable design 
Experience conducting user research and comfortable talking with customers 
Experience with prototyping tools or hand-coded HTML/CSS/JS is a plus 
Requirements: 
BFA in Graphic Design or related field 
5+ years of Web Application design experience preferably for a software company 
A strong portfolio featuring relevant work examples. 
Must be a self-starter and able to work well with others in a
fast-paced agile environment with an emphasis on collaborating and
assisting the team to meet business objectives
