Job description

Landscape Irrigation Installation Technician

We are a growing company looking for motivated and reliable team members to join our Landscaping & Construction Department. This position focuses on landscape installation projects, including basic irrigation installation for new construction and landscape development projects. The ideal candidate is hardworking, safety-oriented, dependable, and eager to grow within the company.

Landscape Irrigation Installation Technician
Location: Indianapolis


Essential Functions & Responsibilities
  • Perform landscape installation tasks including planting, mulching, sod installation, grading, raking, and general landscaping duties
  • Assist with basic irrigation installation on new construction and landscape projects
  • Follow blueprints, job site instructions, and project specifications accurately
  • Lead, manage, and guide crew members to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently
  • Load, unload, and transport materials, equipment, and tools safely
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment as needed
  • Load and unload skid steers safely and efficiently
  • Operate company vehicles, including an F-550 truck with a 20โ€™ trailer
  • Identify different types of trees, shrubs, and landscape materials
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times
  • Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects efficiently
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of landscape installation experience including planting, mulching, sod installation, raking, and general landscape tasks
  • Basic irrigation installation experience required
  • Leadership skills with the ability to manage and guide a crew
  • Ability to follow blueprints, instructions, and project specifications
  • Ability to identify different types of trees and shrubs
  • Experience using hand tools and operating heavy equipment
  • Experience loading and unloading a skid steer
  • Ability to operate an F-550 truck with a 20โ€™ trailer
  • Valid driverโ€™s license with a clean driving record required
  • Must pass a drug screening test
  • Availability to work Monday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM as needed
  • Reliable transportation, strong attendance, and punctuality required
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow
