About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Lead Software Engineer to lead the modernization of a customer-facing digital product platform. This role requires deep expertise in modern software development practices, a passion for emerging technologies, and the ability to provide strong technical leadership and mentorship.
You will play a critical role in shaping the platform's technical direction and ensuring it is scalable, resilient, secure, and maintainable for long-term growth. This is a hands-on leadership position that combines architecture, engineering execution, technical decision-making, and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Engineering
  • Architect and implement a modern digital product platform using technologies such as:
    • TypeScript

  • Establish and champion engineering practices that promote modularity, scalability, resiliency, security, and maintainability.
  • Define and uphold coding standards, architectural patterns, testing strategies, and quality metrics.
  • Lead technical design discussions, design reviews, and code reviews.
  • Provide hands-on technical guidance across web, mobile, API, and platform engineering initiatives.
  • Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines and contribute to DevSecOps practices.

Platform Modernization
  • Lead the modernization of an existing digital product platform supporting multiple customer and partner use cases.

  • Demonstrated experience providing technical leadership across architecture, design, implementation, and operational support.
  • Experience building and operating customer-facing web and mobile applications.
  • Experience developing business-to-business APIs, portals, integrations, or transaction-driven systems.
  • Experience partnering with Product, Design, Engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver meaningful outcomes.
