Enterprise Applications Engineer, Hackensack, NJ
A prestigious law firm, is seeking an Enterprise Applications Engineer to join the team. This role involves collaborating closely with the Enterprise Applications Manager and various department personnel, including IT, Accounting, and Marketing, to ensure seamless operation and optimal performance of all applications. This role is essential to the function of the firm and may require additional hours, weekend work, and availability during firm administrative closures. Legal or professionals services experience is required. This is a Hybrid position with some onsite required in Hackensack, NJ.
Enterprise Applications Engineer Responsibilities:
- This role is essential to the function of the firm and may require additional hours, weekend work, and availability during firm administrative closures.
- Collaborate with team members to integrate, update, administer, and support the firm's management applications such as Elite 3E, Intapp (Time, Risk, Intake), Concur, Iridium, Aderant CompuLaw, and marketing tools.
- Perform application implementations, reconfigurations, upgrades, and maintenance across finance, practice-specific tools, and marketing applications.
- Administer underlying platforms including Microsoft SQL, SSRS, SSIS, Active Directory, Azure AD, and Windows Servers.
- Coordinate with other departments during projects and system upgrades, assessing and mitigating risk factors related to integrated systems.
- Conduct periodic maintenance like SQL optimizations, Windows updates, and security patching.
- Document system configurations, integrations, backup, disaster recovery processes, and application troubleshooting guides.
- Manage vendor support tickets and optimize system performance and storage utilization.
Enterprise Applications Engineer Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in management, design, and implementation of large enterprise applications within a complex operating system environment.
- A four-year college degree is preferred, although equivalent experience is considered.
- Microsoft and other relevant certifications are a plus but not required.
- Proficiency in PowerShell, C#, Visual Basic .Net, HTML5, or other programming languages.
- Strong experience in managing and troubleshooting Windows Server environments.
- Legal or professionals services experience is required.
- Expertise in SQL administration, data queries, reporting with SSRS, and experience in managing accounting, time tracking, and billing software in a legal or professional services environment.
