What does a Lead Electrical Field Engineer do?

A Lead Electrical Field Engineer oversees the installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems on construction or industrial sites. They coordinate teams, ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards, and resolve technical issues in the field. Their role often involves liaising between project management, design engineers, and on-site personnel to deliver projects on time and within specifications. Strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of electrical engineering principles are essential for this position.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Lead Electrical Field Engineer, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Lead Electrical Field Engineer, you need a strong background in electrical engineering principles, project management, and field troubleshooting, typically supported by a relevant engineering degree and licensure (such as a PE).
