Location: Alpharetta, GA - Hybrid 3 times a week

We are seeking an Azure DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The position requires deep expertise across Azure based automation and provisioning practices including CI/CD pipelines Terraform Bicep Powershell and ARM templates. The architect will drive secure resilient and maintainable platforms that support hybrid work models and day shift operations while improving delivery efficie
What you'll do In the role, you will:
  • Collaborate with development teams to build necessary Azure resources, enhance pipeline efficiency and reliability.
  • Implement best practices for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new users by providing the necessary access permissions and credentials.
  • Investigate and resolve access-related problems promptly and efficiently.
  • Work closely with security teams to ensure compliance with access control policies and protocols.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure that the development, testing, and production environments are properly configured and optimized.
  • Provide expertise in cloud services, particularly Azure, to optimize infrastructure for scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.

What you'll need to succeed:
  • 10+ years in DevOps/Release Engineering including technical lead capacity
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Pipelines, YAML-based pipelines, Repos, Artifacts)
  • Proven expertise in ArgoCD and GitOps methodologies
  • Implement and manage GitOps workflows using ArgoCD for Kubernetes-based application deployments
    • Define and maintain ArgoCD application manifests, sync policies, and multi-cluster deployment strategies
    • Ensure declarative, version-controlled infrastructure and application state management
  • Solid experience with Kubernetes/AKS, Helm, and container orchestration
  • Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) and IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates)
  • Experience with Docker and container registries (ACR)
  • Working knowledge of Git branching strategies (GitFlow, trunk-based development)
  • Familiarity with SAFe Agile/Scrum delivery models
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across build, deployment, and runtime environments

Preferred/Nice-to-Have
  • Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or AKS certification
  • Experience with service mesh (Istio/Linkerd)
  • Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid deployment models
  • Prior experience in large-scale client delivery/consulting environments
