Senior Oracle Database Enterprise Architect
Hybrid – 4 days a week in Merrifield, VA
Direct Hire
Salary: $135,000 rangeannually, plus benefits
Federal End Customer Requirements: US Citizenship with eligibility for a Public Trust clearance
System One IT is staffing a direct-hire opening for a Senior Oracle Enterprise Architect with a respected systems integrator, supporting a civilian federal end-customer. This is a hybrid position, 4 days a week on-site in Merrifield, VA. Based on federal requirements, candidates must be US citizens and eligible to pass a Public Trust security clearance.

Experience
  • 10+ years of IT experience, with significant experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or Oracle database architecture.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle Database 21c (or 19c/21c upgrades and migrations).
  • Experience designing enterprise-scale, high-availability database environments.
  • Proven experience leading architecture and digital transformation initiatives.
Technical Skills
  • Oracle Database 21c administration and architecture.
  • Database installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching.
  • Performance tuning, SQL optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Backup and recovery using RMAN.
  • High Availability technologies:
    • Oracle RAC
    • Data Guard
    • ASM Automatic Storage Management
