Job Title: Business Analyst Location-Type: Onsite (Houston, TX) Start Date Is: End of May Duration: Permanent Compensation Range: $130-150K Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO Must be authorized to work in the U.S. This position is not eligible for sponsorship .

Job Description: The Business Analyst will drive data-driven insights to support product strategy, profitability analysis, and performance reporting across business units.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Analyze profitability, revenue, and cost drivers to support business decisions
  • Build dashboards and deliver monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting
  • Partner with product owners to translate business needs into data insights
  • Write SQL queries to extract, analyze, and validate data
  • Communicate findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to support analytics initiatives
  • Lead core analytics efforts across multiple product lines
  • Identify data needs and proactively source information to answer business questions

Requirements:

Must-Haves:
  • 5–10 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst
  • Strong understanding of profitability, revenue, and cost analysis
  • Recent Advanced SQL skills (writing queries, pulling and analyzing data)
  • Ability to create and solve basic mathematical models for business problems
