Control Room Operator
Automation Personnel Services isย seeking a safety -focusedย Control Room Operatorย for a company based inย Reform,ย AL.ย Inย thisย role, you willย monitor plant equipment, respond to alarms, maintain accurate logs, and communicate with field teams. Candidates must beย comfortable using computers, following strict procedures, and staying focused throughout aย 12-hourย rotating shift.ย 

Pay Rateย 
Starting atย $18.25ย 

Schedule and Hoursย 
12 Hours Shifts | 7:00am to 7:00pmย (Rotating Shifts)

Control Room Operatorย Duties and Responsibilitiesย 
โ€ขย Monitor plant equipment, alarms, pressures, temperatures, and operating conditions using computerized control systems.
โ€ขย Safely start, stop, and adjust equipment while coordinating with the Main/field team.
โ€ขย Respond quickly to alarms, equipment issues, and changing conditions.
โ€ขย Maintain accurate shift logs, equipment readings, and operating records.
โ€ขย Communicate clearly with operators, supervisors, and maintenance teams.Heavy lifting and lifting constantlyย 
โ€ขย Follow theย strict no-cell-phone policyย except during breaks and lunch.

Control Room Operatorย Qualificationsย andย Requirementsย 
โ€ขย High school diploma or GED required.
โ€ขย Basic computer skills and ability to learn control/monitoring systems.ย 
โ€ขย Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
โ€ขย Must completeย anย 8-hour training scheduleย before transitioning to aย 12-hour rotating shift,ย including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
