Job description

ADP is hiring a Lead Business Systems Analyst

  • Are you passionate about leveraging data and technology to drive investment operations and compliance?
  • Do you thrive in roles that blend systems expertise, financial accounting, and problem-solving?

Well, this may be the role for you. Ready to make your mark?

In this role you will serve as a critical bridge between technology, investment compliance, and financial accounting. You will support and enhance investment administration platforms, drive data integrity and governance, and ensure operational excellence across systems like Geneva and Bloomberg AIM.

No two days are the same. You will work across various business areas including but not limited to data analysis, system configuration, and compliance monitoring. You'll collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors, support audits, and continuously improve processes while delivering reporting and insights to senior leadership.

To thrive in this role, you'll need strong technical expertise, deep knowledge of investment accounting, and the ability to manage complex data environments. You'll face challenges around data quality, compliance requirements, and evolving systems.

Here's what you can expect on a typical day:

  • Data & Reporting. You'll develop and optimize SQL queries, build reports, and create Excel-based tools and dashboards to support operational and reporting needs.
  • Systems Support. You'll configure and maintain systems such as Geneva RSL and Bloomberg AIM, participate in upgrades, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Data Quality & Governance. You'll ensure data accuracy and consistency, investigate discrepancies, implement data governance frameworks, and manage corporate actions and security master data.
  • Compliance Monitoring. You'll support the Bloomberg AIM Compliance Module, maintain investment guidelines, review daily compliance reports, and process trade overrides when needed.
  • Collaboration & Problem Solving. You'll work with vendors, custodians, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues, perform root cause analysis, and improve processes.
  • Audit & Operational Support. You'll support internal and external audits, assist leadership on special projects, and help train team members for backup coverage

To succeed in this role:

  • You'll have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience. You have 5-7 years of experience in asset management, investment administration, or financial services operations with strong knowledge of fixed income products and accounting principles.
  • Technical Expertise. You possess strong SQL skills (complex queries, joins, stored procedures) and experience with investment accounting systems such as Geneva or PORTIA.
  • Analytical Skills. You have a strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication. You can clearly present findings and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Bonus Qualifications. An MBA or CPA, experience with Bloomberg AIM, Geneva RSL, programming (VBA, Python, etc.), and familiarity with compliance frameworks or custodian data feeds will set you apart.

YOU'LL LOVE WORKING HERE BECAUSE YOU CAN:
