Job description

Working with INNOVA NW is an exciting opportunity for personal and professional growth. INNOVA NW is primarily a Commercial focused business, but we also service the Residential market.  Our company is rapidly expanding and we are looking to add a talented low voltage technician. Roles would include installing fire, security, audio/visual, communications systems and other low voltage systems in commercial and residential projects.  Communication and social skills are required as you are the face of our company on the jobsite and will be interacting with builders, other trades and our customers.  In addition to the Salem area technician role we also have opportunities available in the North and South Valley as well as SW Washington and Central Oregon


Required Areas of Knowledge:


  • Burglary, Fire, Access and Surveillance systems
  • Data Networking and Communication systems
  • Relays, digital and analog circuitry
  • Power supplies and distribution
  • Wire termination, labeling and management
  • Use of electronic testing devices and power tools
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics and technical manuals


Qualification:


  • Oregon LEA or LEB License (LEA Preferred)
  • Preferred Washington EL06
  • 5+ years of hands on low voltage installation experience
  • Neat presentable appearance
  • Clean DMV record
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem-solving skills
  • Good research skills and attention to detail
