Job Description

We are seeking a true PRN team member who can provide coverage during vacations, sick calls, and other staffing needs as they arise. Join an amazing in-house team dedicated to enriching the lives of seniors through compassionate care and innovative programs. As a Speech Language Therapist, you'll provide exceptional services within Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, and Memory Care residents. This role will foster a positive, supportive environment for residents, families, and team members on a PRN basis.

PAY RATE: $42 - $60/ hr

What you'll do:

  • Responsible for the maintenance and accuracy of records regarding patient care for all patients on personal case load.
  • Responsible for the correct reporting of billing information of Speech Therapy regarding all patients on personal case load.
  • Provide direct patient care as prescribed, including evaluation and treatment planning.
  • Responsible for the reporting and interpretation of treatment results.
  • Perform clinical functions: screens, evaluations, development of treatment plans, and delivery of treatment in accordance with facility, Medicare, and Therapy Management Corporation's policies and procedures.
  • Participate in meetings regarding patient care as appropriate.
  • Maintains a high standard of resident care.
  • Provide education to patient's family as well as staff on the specific treatment plan as well as therapy goals for the patient.
  • Responsible for the coordination and cooperation with other staff members in carrying out the treatment plan as established.
  • This role primarily works in inpatient Med A.

Who you are:

A minimum of a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology. CPR certified. Licensed by the State in the designated geographic area in their respective therapy profession.
